無(wú)人機(jī)創(chuàng)業(yè)爛大街了，安徽這家企業(yè)憑什么上國(guó)家英文日?qǐng)?bào)？
去年，在合肥的一次科技成果展示上，一位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)踱步到天路航空的展臺(tái)，只看了一眼就搖搖頭說：“到處都是無(wú)人機(jī)！”
這一次的經(jīng)歷讓門振宇很受傷，做無(wú)人機(jī)研發(fā)十幾年來(lái)，門振宇挺過了很多的難關(guān)，卻差點(diǎn)在這位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的打擊下泄了氣。
讓他泄氣的不是因?yàn)檫@話是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)說的，而是因?yàn)樗约阂泊_實(shí)感覺到，現(xiàn)在打著無(wú)人機(jī)創(chuàng)業(yè)旗號(hào)的公司已經(jīng)爛大街了，實(shí)在良莠不齊，甚至讓他經(jīng)常有“劣幣驅(qū)逐良幣”的感覺。
10月17日，中國(guó)國(guó)家英文日?qǐng)?bào)《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》第7版報(bào)道了門振宇的創(chuàng)業(yè)故事。原報(bào)道是全英文的，以下是“一點(diǎn)余墨”翻譯整理的該報(bào)道的中英文對(duì)照版。

The 'road in the sky' that's paved with gold
金色的“天路”
Although his love of aircraft made Men Zhenyu's first years in business painful, recently the entrepreneur has seen his company take flight.
對(duì)飛機(jī)的癡迷讓門振宇職業(yè)生涯的最初幾年過得非常痛苦，卻為他最近幾年的事業(yè)插上了翅膀。
Since 2012, when Men established Huaibei Tianlu Aero Science and Technology－which manufactures drones－in his hometown of Huaibei, Anhui province, the 42-year-old has inspired many local entrepreneurs.
2012年，門振宇在家鄉(xiāng)淮北市成立了自己的無(wú)人機(jī)公司，從那以來(lái)，他的故事激勵(lì)了許多當(dāng)?shù)氐钠髽I(yè)家。
Painstaking start
艱難起步
Having majored in law at college, Men worked in several sectors, including information technology and marketing in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangdong province, and Nanjing in Jiangsu province, after graduation. However, he never lost his love of aviation and engineering.
法律專業(yè)畢業(yè)的門振宇畢業(yè)后在北京、深圳和南京等城市從事過包括信息技術(shù)和市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷在內(nèi)的許多工作。不過，從來(lái)沒有被放棄過的是他對(duì)航空科技和工程技術(shù)的熱愛。
"I've been nuts about inventions since childhood, and especially crazy about airplanes," he said.
“從小時(shí)候開始我就對(duì)發(fā)明創(chuàng)造很癡迷，尤其喜歡各種飛機(jī)”，他說。
In 2004, a company owned by a friend of Men's was employed to use a drone to map out a golf course in Beijing. Men was employed as an adviser on the project.
2004年，門振宇一個(gè)朋友的公司正要通過無(wú)人機(jī)航拍為北京的一個(gè)高爾夫球場(chǎng)做測(cè)繪。門振宇為這個(gè)項(xiàng)目當(dāng)顧問。
"I thought it was a great chance to move into a business I had dreamed about for years", he said.
“我認(rèn)為這是從事無(wú)人機(jī)研發(fā)工作的絕佳機(jī)會(huì)，為了這樣的機(jī)會(huì)我已經(jīng)等了很多年”，他說。
To become an expert on drones, he had to study aerodynamics, material mechanics and a range of other subjects from scratch.
為了成為無(wú)人機(jī)方面的專家，門振宇不得不自學(xué)空氣動(dòng)力學(xué)、材料力學(xué)等許多領(lǐng)域的知識(shí)。
When his friend's company was acquired by a larger outfit, the headquarters relocated to Foshan, a city in the southern province of Guangdong, and the golf club project was suspended.
后來(lái)，這家公司被一個(gè)更大的公司收購(gòu)，并被要求搬到廣東佛山，高爾夫球場(chǎng)的項(xiàng)目也終止了。
Men was reluctant to move, so he quit his job, rented a number of abandoned houses in the suburbs of Beijing and established his own team to finish the golf club project. He managed to persuade some of his former colleagues to join him.
門振宇不愿離開北京，于是只能從公司辭職。他在北京郊區(qū)租下了十幾間廢棄的民房，組件了自己的團(tuán)隊(duì)，以完成高爾夫球場(chǎng)的項(xiàng)目。一些以前的同事也跟著他一起干。
After a few months, the team suffered twin blows. Their unmanned aircraft crashed in the hills outside Beijing and their business premises came under threat.
幾個(gè)月后，這個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)又遭受了雙重打擊。先是他們研發(fā)的無(wú)人機(jī)在山區(qū)墜毀，而后他們的大本營(yíng)也面臨威脅。
"The government started to develop the area and said it would demolish the shabby houses, so I could not continue to run my workshop," Men said.
“政府開始開發(fā)那片區(qū)域，那里很快就要拆遷，所以我們也不能繼續(xù)在那里待下去了”，門振宇說。
As a result, he moved south and took a job on Hainan Island. However, in 2009, a friend told Men about a project to establish a company to manufacture drones. So he returned from Hainan and joined the project.
后來(lái)，門振宇不得不放棄，到海南找了一份新工作。直到2009年，一個(gè)朋友告訴他，有人要成立公司生產(chǎn)無(wú)人機(jī)，于是門振宇又從海南回到了北京，加入了這個(gè)項(xiàng)目。
His boss asked Men to speak with Jiang Jingshan, a space science expert and a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in the hope of establishing cooperation.
門振宇的新老板帶著他去見中科院院士、空間科學(xué)家姜景山，以尋求合作。
"At first the academician was skeptical of our strengths but he expressed satisfaction with my hand-drawn sketches," Men said. He spent five months building a 7.5-meter-wide, 120 kilogram drone, which could remain airborne for 24 hours at a time.
“一開始姜院士對(duì)我們的實(shí)力有些懷疑，不過對(duì)我徒手畫的設(shè)計(jì)草圖還挺滿意”，門振宇說。他后來(lái)用了五個(gè)月的時(shí)間制造出一架翼展7.5米，重量120公斤，可以連續(xù)飛行24個(gè)小時(shí)的無(wú)人機(jī)。
"Jiang called me a genius, which was a great encouragement to me," Men recalled.
“姜院士夸我是個(gè)天才，這對(duì)我是一種極大的鼓勵(lì)”，門振宇回憶說。

Returning home
返鄉(xiāng)創(chuàng)業(yè)
In 2012, he quit his job and returned to Huaibei, once one of China's largest coal production bases, to start his own business after being informed that the government was looking to transform its economy and had devised a number of favorable policies to support high-tech companies.
2012年，門振宇從朋友那里得知，作為中國(guó)煤炭主產(chǎn)地之一的家鄉(xiāng)淮北正在尋求經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型并出臺(tái)了一系列的優(yōu)惠政策支持高科技企業(yè)的發(fā)展，于是他便辭職返鄉(xiāng)，創(chuàng)辦了自己的公司。
Some of Men's friends, including some from Beijing, followed him home to Huaibei. Six investors plowed more than 1 million yuan ($152,000) into the foundation of Tianlu－which literally means "the road in air"－with Men contributing 500,000 yuan.
門振宇的一些朋友也跟他一起到了淮北，有的是從北京來(lái)的。六個(gè)投資人出資100萬(wàn)元成立了天路公司，“天路”的字面意思是“天空的道路”。
"We received a warm welcome and firm support from the local government," he said.
“我們受到了政府的歡迎和支持”，他說。
The authorities offered the new company a 2,800-square-meter factory to use as a research and development center, a workshop and offices free of charge. Moreover, registration procedures were simplified and the government helped Men to obtain crucial bank loans.
起步階段，政府為天路公司提供了一個(gè)2800平米免租金的廠房供公司研發(fā)設(shè)計(jì)、生產(chǎn)和辦公使用。除此之外，政府也在公司注冊(cè)和貸款申請(qǐng)方面給予了極大支持。
Tianlu was founded in December 2012. Men was able to attract 15 former colleagues with share-incentive options, and the company now has 33 highly educated employees.
天路公司正式成立于2012年12月。得益于股權(quán)激勵(lì)的機(jī)制，門振宇吸引了15個(gè)以前的同事加入，公司現(xiàn)在有33名優(yōu)秀員工。
A year after it was established, Tianlu's first unmanned aircraft for civil use was bought by a company in Beijing.
公司成立一年后，天路的第一架民用無(wú)人機(jī)被北京的一家公司購(gòu)買。
The aircraft weighs 38 kilograms and is 3 meters in length and breadth. When carrying a full 14 liters of gasoline, it can fly for five hours at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour and at a height of 2,000 meters.
這架飛機(jī)重38公斤，翼展3米，加滿14升汽油后能以300公里的時(shí)速在2000米的高空飛行5個(gè)小時(shí)。
In 2014, a new 36,000-sq-m factory was put into use.
2014年，一個(gè)占地36000平米的新廠房投入使用。
However, the development of new products is costly. In recent years, Men and the other shareholders have invested more than 30 million yuan in the company, which has registered capital of nearly 8 million yuan.
然而，新產(chǎn)品的研發(fā)需要大量的資金投入。這幾年，門振宇和其他股東已經(jīng)累計(jì)投資了3000多萬(wàn)元，公司的注冊(cè)資本增加到了近800萬(wàn)元。
"Sometimes it was very hard to get money," Men said. The hardest time came in mid-2015, when Tianlu's executives agreed to forgo their salaries for six months to ensure the business kept running.
“有時(shí)候籌錢真的很困難”，門振宇說。2015年年中是天路最艱難的關(guān)頭，那時(shí)候公司的高管在長(zhǎng)達(dá)半年的時(shí)間里不從公司領(lǐng)工資。
"Luckily, we then received funding of nearly 300 million yuan from the Huaibei government", he added.
“幸運(yùn)的是，我們后來(lái)從政府的基金中得到了300萬(wàn)元的投資”，門振宇說。
The situation has now improved, and Tianlu generated sales revenue of more than 2 million yuan last year.
公司的財(cái)務(wù)狀況從此逐漸好轉(zhuǎn)，去年公司實(shí)現(xiàn)了200多萬(wàn)元的銷售收入。
So far, the company has developed multiple types of drones, which have a broad scope of applications, including surveying and mapping, agriculture and disaster response, prompting artificial rainfall and even a number of military purposes.
目前，該公司已經(jīng)研發(fā)出多種無(wú)人機(jī)，可用于勘探測(cè)繪、農(nóng)業(yè)、災(zāi)害應(yīng)急、人工降雨等領(lǐng)域，也可應(yīng)用于軍事領(lǐng)域。
